Botias/loaches eat snails, but I don't know if I'd put them in with the Mollies. Unless, you want to try a tank divider for temporary purposes and then give the botias to a friend. If your tank is large enough, Clown Loaches aren't really aggressive and they'll eat them. They get pretty large though.

Instead of getting other fish to eat the snails why dont you just clean out your aquarium boil your stones and wash everything in hot water and get rid of the snails that way, if you don't want to clean the aquarium, please do be careful that the snails don't start eating away at your mollies, but any ground feeders will eat them. The best fish to eat the snails is an Oscar but he will eat your mollies as well. You could try SNAIL GO which will not harm the fish at all.

Just thought that I'd let you know that you already have your best answer from 1977 above. Some loaches or botias can be a little aggressive but as far as community fish go , Mollies can be quite nasty when they need to be. Clown Loaches are your best bet , no doubt!!! as long as you are ready to spend 5 to 7 dollars a piece??? Do it anyway 'cause they are also beautiful orange and black striped fish. Of course I may be biased to black and orange stripes 'cause I'm a Cincinnatian. One more thing.....be sure and ask the people at the fish shop to show you the loaches and botias cause they are hiders and you may never see them even if you know what you're looking for.

Dojo Loach, also called Weather Loach. They are extremely friendly, they eat snails, and are playful. They are cheaper then a clown loach and only get as big as your tank. I've read that they do jump out of the tank. Mine never has, and I've had him since he was a baby. They are a fun fish and very helpful. I also have a lid on the tank, but I take the top off when the temperature gets too high.

Clown loaches are the best, and they are slow growing so dont worry about them out growing your tank like previously said. you will be lucky if they double in one growing season. They will not bother any fish, and make sure you get at least 2...they love their company.
