Can someone explain that for me? I've always heard pretentious people use that term without truly fleshing it out...

hiya. when you are jogging on surface streets and not on a track where you know the precise distance, what is the best way to calculate your distance? my husband is 6'1" and i am 5'2", so we get different results with our pedometer. should we drive the route in our car, or will that also be a different measurement?

I sedom carry cash I carry visa debt / credit cd, I constantly say that Im broke, I use coupons,grocery store/ resturant, I just love that ENTERTIANMENT BOOK, I wash my own car, I always want to go Dutch. I go out to dinner when the kids can eat free, i buy my groceries a week at a time because I dont want to spend a lot in just one bunch. (I have a great job with benefits so I am not HURTING FOR MONEY ) , DO YOU THINK I'M CHEAP???

I'm a guy and this is so embarassing to even say, but as I was growing up, people always told me I was ugly. When I was young people couldn't tell if I was a boy or a girl. I had such a girlie face and alot of people thought I was a girl. No matter how short my hair was, how boyish my clothes were, people always asked me if I was a boy or a girl. When I went near bald, people thought I was a lesbian. I get so humiliated and I just don't know what to do anymore. Because of that I think i'm a bit superficial. I am always worrying about the way I look because I dont' feel attractive or even think i'm attractive. But I care alot about the way I look because I fear that I look to girlie or that i'm just plain ugly. I get really depressed and am so embarassed to talk to anyone about it. I am so sad and don't know what to do anymore......

Aren't all people entitled to thier beliefs/non-beliefs? I have encountered a number of narrow minded people in this community, who are vehement about thier beliefs and that the majority of us are wrong.
We don't judge them for thier beliefs - so why do they judge others? While I am not gay, it seems to be the gay community that recieves the most 'telling offs'.
