I hear you. I've only been having the exact same sort of problem for the past three weeks.
It may well be too much light, especially sunlight. It is summer and last week did have the longest day of the year in it. Good news is: the situation will eventually correct itself if this is so, because the days will get shorter from here on. Bad News: That is going to be another month or two away minimum.
So....get thicker curtains for your bedroom windows, try to keep them covered entirely. Go with a softer, lower-wattage lighting in your home. Try to use as little artificial light as possible at night....see if you can't extend what little night-time darkness there is right now so your brain recognizes that it is time to sleep. Remember, Melatonin does react to ambient light levels, year-round, not just in the winter time.
Hope this helps.

Ok, I work in a sleep lab (yes seriously)
It sounds like you have poor sleep habits.
First of all, sitting in front of a computer screen mimics daylight so it tells your body it's daytime and time to be awake. Shut off the Computer and TV. Also leave your bedroom or at least your bed and try reading for a while. Mkae sure your bedtime and rise tim are consisitent everyday, otherwise you won't feel tired at your normal bedtime. For instance if youtry going to bed at 10:30 on weekdays but 2 am on weekends, you won't be tired the next week.
Also stop drinking caffeine by about 1 pm. Many people are having a soda at 6 ot 7 at night and that will keep you awake. It may take a coupke days for this to work, but it will.

i dont know how old are you...anyway check if you have hepertension...if not it must be depression...the only way is meditation...try this for beginning...sit comfortably, close your eyes. Focus your vision (eyes closed) at the center point of your two eyebrows...inhale deeply three times...now think of your body parts starting from head...coming down slowly part by part upto your toes...then go up again upto your head...repeat this three times...now open your eyes slowly...inhale deeply. Tell me if you have some changes and can get some good sleep..All the best.

Stay away from all that over-the-counter medication junk or all medication for that matter.. Women, you just need some all natural sexual healing!!!!! You don't need a doctor for that.

Maybe you should consult your doctor. There are some excellent prescription medications out there that might help.
