I'm a guy and this is so embarassing to even say, but as I was growing up, people always told me I was ugly. When I was young people couldn't tell if I was a boy or a girl. I had such a girlie face and alot of people thought I was a girl. No matter how short my hair was, how boyish my clothes were, people always asked me if I was a boy or a girl. When I went near bald, people thought I was a lesbian. I get so humiliated and I just don't know what to do anymore. Because of that I think i'm a bit superficial. I am always worrying about the way I look because I dont' feel attractive or even think i'm attractive. But I care alot about the way I look because I fear that I look to girlie or that i'm just plain ugly. I get really depressed and am so embarassed to talk to anyone about it. I am so sad and don't know what to do anymore......

My boyfriend is girly. When my friend met him, she asked him about 4 times in a row if he was gay. We'd walk together on the street and people would say, "hey ladies" to us. So much that I got sick of it, but now I'm used to it. lol

One time we were sitting together in a room, and his roomates friend walks in the room and then walks out and asks his roomate, "how come you have 2 girls in your bedroom?" His roomate responds by saying, "One of the girls is a guy, guess which one." His friend thought I was the guy! Sure, I laughed and laughed until I realized they thought I was a man. Which is probably because I'm 3 or 4 inches taller than my boyfriend and I had bright pink hair at the time.

So point is, a lot of girls (like me) like girly looking men (not drag queens) especially if theyre confident and have long hair.

Just be happy with yourself. Someone will like you regardless of how you are. We all have imperfections (though I dont see yours as imperfections) Even supermodels are teased in school. Don't let obnoxious children ruin your self esteem.

I went to the doctor and she said that I was superficaial for caring about a scar. She said that I should see a shrink about it, when she is just if not more superficial. She dresses a certain way, shaves her legs, etc. Would she shave if she wasnt caring about what people thought about her? Everyone is superficial in their own way. Girls tend to be less superficial than men. For instance, I think a girl can be okay with being with a guy without without fingers, but a guy doesnt feel the same way about a girl without fingers.

So just find yourself a girl. She'll like you & she'll make you happy. If you have a girl now, and she's not making you happy, get a new one.

Honey, coming from a first time mom with a roadmap for a tummy, lemme tell you something...I am not beautiful, My figure is definitely plus size but I do dress trendy and stylish. See sweetie, the world has lately been revolving around Hollister/ Abercrombie guys and girls with fake tans and beachy hair to appeal to a younger crowd that WANTS to be popular, wants to be in for paying $112 for a pair of jeans offered to everyone weighing under 160 lbs. Who really cares how someone looks? Looks do not stay with you. Don't be sad. The only thing you can do about it is save money for plastic surgery. JUST KIDDING!! All that is is a temporary fix for people. Get a tattoo. Get a piercing. Adorn your body, because that is how God made you and he did it for a reason. Trust me, he doesn't make mistakes. And I'm sure you have more important things to worry about like for instance your LIFE.

I think a lot of people struggle with the way they look. Just do the best you can do to excersize, eat healthy and say IM HANDSOME in front of the mirror everyday till you believe it because what if there is only one life. This is IT!!! What if there are no other chances, what if you where to die and then backflash on your life. You would want to see good things. Memories and Family. Not you hiding in the corner because you think your ugly There is so much more to life then just the way that we look. Plus I have noticed that someone may look ugly by the way they carry themselfs. Stand tall and look people in the eye, be true to yourself and let you INNER LIGHT SHINE!!!!!

Get rid of all the mirrors in your house. Stop trying to be anything that you are not because that will help your attractiveness shine through your body. Confidence in knowing you are unique will help you grow in other areas of your life. Take care of yourself - eat right, exercise, wash your face and brush your teeth twice a day. Get your hair done in a manly way - maybe some color. Wax your eyebrows. Dress nice but not expensive. Everything else will fall into place. And stop thinking about the past. It gets in the way of today.

People aren't perfect and you just have to accept yourself for who you are. Don't let others inflict your mind by their judgments. Be your own person. You ARE your own person. Find a way to make people forget your looks and look deeper inside for the real you. Me for example, I have huge eye brows...and I mean HUGE(and they just keep growing). ;p People talk about them all the time and that really made me feel bad. So I came up with a few ideas to fight back. I give excuses that they keep me warm in the winter or provide a nice soft landing if I fall. You just got to find a perfect theme for you and keep adding new ideas. PS. Next time they ask you if you're a guy, take your pants down and piss on them.

I see allot of pretty feminine male models, also I think you are most likely exaggerating.
your family is probably pro-manly men so try not to let them bother you to much...
I also will guess that you are youngish, and have clear glowing skin and little body hair....soon as that changes you'll look more like the stereo type of a "GUY!"
keep in mind that a lot of girls like girly guys, because this is becoming a unisex society(God save us!)so you'll fit right in.
