i have been on fluvoxamine for about 2 years. Severe itching (all over body) started just 2 months ago. i have been taking 200 mg of fluvoxamine for the last 4 weeks.

You can build up an allergy to just about anything. I would suggest speaking with your prescribing physician about this....

Yeah im on Luvox, its not fatal or anything, just that your tolerance is so much lower on it and that can make you get alcohol poisoning

You should go to the doctor ASAP, I think itchy is serious danger sign of medicine allergy. Some people can died from it.

i took medicine before that I am allergy to and have itchy skin, I called back the clinic, I don't need to book appointment, I went asap to the clinic to take some needle to stop the allergy.

Luvox (fluvoxamine) side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: skin rash or hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Report any new or worsening symptoms to your doctor, such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.
Call your doctor at once if you have;
- blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain or swelling, or seeing halos around lights;
- seizure (convulsions);
- changes in weight or appetite;
- easy bruising or unusual bleeding;
- anxiety, racing thoughts, risk-taking behavior, sleep problems (insomnia), feelings of extreme happiness or irritability;
- high levels of serotonin in the body--agitation, hallucinations, fever, fast heart rate, overactive reflexes, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of coordination, fainting;
- low levels of sodium in the body--headache, confusion, slurred speech, severe weakness, vomiting, loss of coordination, feeling unsteady; or
- severe nervous system reaction--very stiff (rigid) muscles, high fever, sweating, confusion, fast or uneven heartbeats, tremors, feeling like you might pass out.
Common side effects may include:
- indigestion, gas, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite;
- increased urination;
- weakness, drowsiness, depressed mood;
- sweating, mild skin rash;
- vision changes;
- dry mouth, stuffy nose;
- unusual or unpleasant taste in the mouth;
- agitation, feeling restless;
- shaking;
- heavy menstrual periods; or
- decreased sex drive, abnormal ejaculation, trouble having an orgasm.

yes,your drug can lead to dermatological side effects.
in fact most of the anti depressants do,check with your doctor,you are already on this drug for long time.
the usual course is 3 to 6 months.

any type of drug may cause itching... maybe something set it off... ie weaker immune system... poison ivy anything really
