When my sister's boyfriend comes up to visit for the weekend, the cat hisses at him, but when I come up to pet the cat she doesn't hiss at all; why is that?

When my son was first born in Dec I saw this activity center at Target by Fisher price. I didn't get it cuz it was X-mas and I figured it would be there next month. It wasn't. I went on-line and found who made it but none of the stores in my area carry it and couldn't find a place on fisher price website to order it

I am taking a babysitting Red cross program tomorrow that goes all week at my school. It is an hour and a half a day. The rest of the day I am helping out at my camp's infant todler center and the little kids camp which goes up to second grade.

After I complete this I become certified and want to start babysitting. My neighbor has a little girl about five. How much should I charge this family an hour? I wouldn't babysit that often. I live in MA if it makes a difference.

Is there anything I will need to know that the course doesn't cover?

The two cats eat adult food, both soft and crunchy, but we have noticed the kitten has really bad gas, could it be the food? We fed the older one the same food when she was a kitten, and she's never had a gas problem. The little guy has the worst farts!

I recently went on holiday with my new girlfriend, leaving my 6 year old to look after himself and his brother. He is very mature for his age, and told me that he could take the responsibility, but when I returned, my neighbour had taken my children into his house and called the police. I personally think that what I did is fine, but I now have a criminal investigation against me and I am not allowed to see my children unsupervised.

Our old four-bulb florescent fixture was looking shabby and the the plastic cover broke. On uninstalling it - I see there are only two wires available. But when I bought the new fixture they make a point of saying that you need to have a ground. The warn otherwise the light not come on predictably or some other issue. With a kitchen ceiling light like this - what are my real risks of just using the two existing wires positive and neg and forgoing the ground? Worked fine with the old fixture for the last 14 years.
