Your "friend" needs to learn to not care what other people think. And to not tell everybody she knows her business.

I have been bi since I was 17, now married and have 2 children. I love the feel of a woman but like may husband more. It's a wonder full life style if it fits you.

Depends who you ask, there will always be those who will accept you for who you are and then there will be those that just don't understand and act badly towards them. It's not good to hate yourself for something, that can't really be controled. So tell your friend not to hate themselves and not worry about what others will think so much, just let your friend know, that no matter what you'll always be there for them.
