We usually take the ferry over, rent a golf cart, or bikes, and go to the Boardwalk for entertainment, a cold beer, lobster bisque (it's the bisque capital of the world)! Anything else?? Is there a favorite place to stay?

I like to go to Kellys Island. Used to be a place called the Beer Barrel, but it burnt to the ground. But the ruins of a beautiful luxury hotel that was built in the late 1800 are still fun to explore. The historical society has pictures of it and maps to the area. I used to know a charter boat captain who would take me out walleye fishing. Man I miss that, they fight you like they are some big ocean fish! You're really proud of yourself when you finally get it in . A lot of people like to go perch fishing, but I'd rather eat Lake Erie perch than fish for it.

We always talk about taking my dad's boat, end up taking the ferry for the day, renting a golf cart and take turns driving it.

We haven't been there in several years, since we had my son though. I'm not sure what we'd do with my 2.5 year old there. Probably have to get a bigger golf cart now. :)

Since me, my husband, & my son live in AZ, just being near water is a novelty.

I liked going up in the light house and looking all around the island. The boardwalk was okay. I didn't stay there.

It's our favorite place in Ohio.
