Hungry Jacks charge 60 cents extra for cheese on their whoppers. What are your thoughts on this? Highway robbery, or is a slice of cheese really worth 60 cents?

It is completely split...50% of the people I have asked say you can only enter or exit when the lane opens, and the other 50% say you can exit at anytime but you have to wait until the lane opens to enter.

So, I called the police department and asked an officer. He told me NO you cannot exit or enter the carpool lane until it allows.

My friend (one of the people who says you can exit anytime) called his local police department and was told YES you can exit at anytime but you cannot enter. Now I'm seriously confused...


It all began one day while driving in the carpool lane. I wondered what if a Police Officer pulls you over while you're in the carpool lane, what do you do? Do you wait until the lane opens or just cross the double lines and pull over? So, I just asked a few people, and the next one always said the opposite of the last... I think it is safe to say when a cop pulls you over, you pull over.

Do you have any thoughts on this elusive traffic law?

This is sort of like the other question i asked but then it isn't. Well i have this guy friend who has liked me before and has asked me out numerous times we've gotten close and now i've fell for him. But he's still taken and is a lil confused on his relationship and wants to date other girls that he doesn't know that well. Well we were at this one cancer thing..yenno' to help raise money for cancer and there was woman singing about her grandfather and how he had cancer, it really set the mood really fast..everyone started to cry. Well remember now we are just friends and well i started to cry. The next thing i knew he put his arms around me,my waist to be exact. I really didn't know what to do..so i let it be. Afterwards he acted all weird towards me throughout the whole night. Always looking at me, putting his arms around me & hugging. He made me feel really weird that night. Afterwards,days later he said he was thinking about doing stuff that he knows he would've been guilty about.

For any emergency management professionals, students, or anyone with knowledge in the emergency management field,
is there an online course I can take or any programs available for emergency management? I've tried the FEMA site and a few other resources I found on the web. I don't know if those online courses are legit though and don't want to risk losing money or getting conned. Truthfully, I don't know where to begin and am really anxious to get started. I have some experience in this field but would like to educate myself more and take courses to develop my knowledge and enhance my skills.
Ultimately, I would like to pursue a lifelong career in this field, but realize that at this point I don't have all the skill sets and knowledge needed in order to qualify for a position. In other words...
