Hungry Jacks charge 60 cents extra for cheese on their whoppers. What are your thoughts on this? Highway robbery, or is a slice of cheese really worth 60 cents?

By the way, Hungry Jacks is part of Burger King.

I think I can clear this up for you. All the burger Joints got a whole list of .99 cent items like say burger kings whopper jr. If you added cheese to that and it cost .60 cents would it feel like they were bending you over and f*cking you? I think so!

highway robbery- and it's not like it is some real cheddar or swiss . it's that slimy process cheese with very little flavor- it's the cheese kraft compares there's to in commericals- the stuff made with mostly water and oil. lol

that is outragous for a slice- 60% of a dollar- wow, then they got the nerve to add tax on top of it-

i don't even give companies like that the satisfaction of getting that much from me- if it's 20 cent or less I'll take it- otherwise I do without.

Whoa everybody!!!!! Chill your jets!! It's not necessarily the restaurant's fault. You forget, if the cheese producers raise their prices (which has been going on lately) the franchises are forced to raise the prices of cheese or switch to a lower-quality cheese. Most people don't understand this b/c they never experienced how the fast-food workplace is. They'd rather just complain about the service and prices without knowing what really goes on around the store and what really affects prices. 90% of the time, it isn't the restaurant, it's the supplier.=

They must be raising the price on cheese to help pay for the trillion dollar bill Bush sent through congress to help rebuild Iraq and their military.

Cheese for oil.
Sound cheesy our tax dollars are not enough. If they could the pickles would be 60 cents each also.

Highway robbery, bring your own slice if you like their burgers that much. You can get a whole package for under $2.00.

You have 2 choices... either pay for the slice of imitation soy cheese or learn to eat hamburgers and not cheeseburgers.
