This is sort of like the other question i asked but then it isn't. Well i have this guy friend who has liked me before and has asked me out numerous times we've gotten close and now i've fell for him. But he's still taken and is a lil confused on his relationship and wants to date other girls that he doesn't know that well. Well we were at this one cancer thing..yenno' to help raise money for cancer and there was woman singing about her grandfather and how he had cancer, it really set the mood really fast..everyone started to cry. Well remember now we are just friends and well i started to cry. The next thing i knew he put his arms around me,my waist to be exact. I really didn't know what to do..so i let it be. Afterwards he acted all weird towards me throughout the whole night. Always looking at me, putting his arms around me & hugging. He made me feel really weird that night. Afterwards,days later he said he was thinking about doing stuff that he knows he would've been guilty about.

Yes, he likes you. There are feelings he has for you but they are somewhat buried or tempered. The emotional evening brought out something in him that put his defenses down. While you will have that shared experience with him, don't be surprised if the next time you see him, he is back to his usual self.
Ok, so he made his move by confessing he wanted to take the next step (something he would have felt guilty about), and he is waiting for you to make the next. It is up to you.
It is probably a wise thing to say something to the effect that when he is available, you will be, too. Let him end his relationship before you start to fool around.

He is confused which is why you are confused. Id say give it some time and dont pay him too much attention. Don't sweat it, his head is probably all over, and I mean the head down there too. If hes already saying he wants to see other girls, then he is just in the mood to experience. He may have some feelings for you but him wanting to experience because he may be focusing on playing around or talking to other chicks, may be causing a distraction for getting to really be with you. He is going through the doggy phase I believe. Dont take it personal, thats just a typical guy for yah. Later on, when he matures, he will probably wake up and realize hmm where is shee?? meaning you. :-)

I think he maybe past the "like" i.e. dating you right now, but he is still physically attracted to you. Don't give up here though. I think by him not taking advantage of you in a weak moment and showing concern throughout the night shows that he does have some sort of feeling and respect for you. Play it this way. Try the friendship angle for now. Let him know your still around. He may start to feel more comfortable about proceeding farther. Be patient.

That guilty part got me thinking he is involved with someone else. Seems like he has been straight with you about seeing other women, did you take too long deciding if you like him? My advice is to get everything out in the open, ask him what do he want. Does he want to be just friends or does he want to be together with you only.
