My son is having social problems. During school he has plenty of kids to talk to and has been invited a few to social functions here and there. This summer though, no one has invited him to do anything. Worse yet, when he initiated outings, two "friends" , (who were good friends at one time), stood him up separately. He is crushed. I know that I need to let him work it out, but I feel so hurt for him. More info. is that my son is one of the younger kids in his class and never sticks with any activity that he has tried, He is being treated for his ADHD symptoms and he also has dyslexic traits which causes him to get his information mixed up frequently. In spite of this, he does earn fairly decent grades. Believe me, we have provided numerous opportunities for him to get involved , but he never has stuck with one! I think this has definitely affected his social development, but I don't know what to do at this point. Any advice or experience? Thanks.

It's sometimes easy to forget how easily email technology can be misused, sometimes unintentionally, with serious consequences.

Consider the case of the Illinois man who left the snow-filled streets of Chicago for a vacation in Florida. His wife was on a business trip and was planning to meet him there the next day. When he reached his hotel, he decided to send his wife a quick e-mail. Unable to find the scrap of paper on which he had written her e-mail address, he did his best to type it in from memory.

Unfortunately, he missed one letter and his note was directed instead to an elderly preacher's wife, whose husband had passed away only the day before.

When the grieving widow checked her e-mail, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint.

At the sound, her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen:

Dearest Wife,

Just got checked in. Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow.



Your Loving Husband

PS. Sure is hot down here.

Hi all,

I'm a student doing research on the chemical Capsaicin (the same chemical found in chillis that make it hot).

I want to know which product that can be found in singapore pharmacies (guardian, watsons etc) contain Capsaicin. Can you help me??? I have searched through guardian but somehow cant find it.

For extra info, Capsaicin is a chemical used to 1. relieve pain 2. weight-loss products, and maybe more.

I'm 28 now but back when I was 22, I began seeing a man who was 29. We dated for 2 years and he wanted me to marry me. I wasn't ready. I just didn't feel he was the one. 6 months after we broke up, his dad died of cancer and my family and I went to the funeral home. We started emailing after that - just as a means of keeping in touch and saying hello, and about every 6 months one of us would write to the other. We never got together - it was just about seeing how the other person was doing. Last year I got married - when he first found out I was engaged, he sent me an email saying he was so happy for me, but after that we stopped writing. This year he is getting married so I sent him an email just to say congratulations and he never wrote me back. I take it we will no longer be emailing each other anymore? I guess I always thought I was the one for him, even if he wasn't the one for me.

Recently my Boss offered me a job transfer; closer to home, actually work to be done and more cost effective. Now he's saying that he's going to "use me as a tool" and work both places. We are supposed to have a "chat" today and he's going to tell me when I can start and what he's going to have me doing. When I put the request to transfer in; I din't know I would have to travel back and forth and that I was going to be used as a tool. I have worked my butt off for seven years not to be anyones Lapgirl. I nned advise please!!! Should I put my foot down and tell my boss that I only want to work at the job closer to home and if hes says it'sa no-go should I quit? I deploy soon and I know I could find a job when I get back, I just don't know what to do. Any advise is greatly appreciated!

I was going out with my ex-boyfriend for 3 years it seemed like I couldnt get over him because I really loved him. I told my boyfriend that I cant believe that I am with him and got over my ex and dont even think about my ex no more.
