Why do my man bring up my ex-boyfriend name?

I was going out with my ex-boyfriend for 3 years it seemed like I couldnt get over him because I really loved him. I told my boyfriend that I cant believe that I am with him and got over my ex and dont even think about my ex no more. I had other boyfriends in the past but I always went back out with my ex- boyfriend. Now Im with my boyfriend that I been going out with for almost 7 months and i really love him.

I had to "lay down the law" with my 'man'. He liked to bring up my past, my patterns, and especially my ex, when we were at odds. It hurt, and it was offensive to me. I've done a lot of growing and getting over my past, and I felt it was wrong of him to frequently bring up my past, since that's what it is...PAST.
So finally I just told him that it was unfair, and he needs to stop it. I did get backup, though, and asked someone he respects to explain to him why this is so harmful. Worked for us! Good luck.

You would make me wonder if you told me that you always went back with your ex. Quit talking about him and talk about your current boyfriend. No guys like hearing about the old b/f's.
