God is not a mad scientist. God wanted to share his love and kingdom so he created the earth and all the creatures therein. He then created man. For the record God did not tempt anyone with any apple. Lucifer was God's favorite angel he decided to rise up against God. God then cast him to earth. He is considered to be the fallen angel. Now as far as the tempting thing God created the garden (paradise) for Adam and he then sent him some help with Eve. which is why the woman is considered to be the Help meet. All God asked Adam and Eve to do was not eat of that tree. Eve was tempted by Lucifer (the devil) to eat the fruit (no one said it was an apple) nothing happened when she did. It was Adam's disobedience that that caused them to get kicked out. Now as time passed and thing progressed Noah came on the scene. God basically got fed up of man actin a donkey. So he told Noah to build the ark he didn't wipe out all of man kind just man in that land. I believe God had created other people in other lands but he was tired of His chosen people actin up. After the rain for 40 days and nights God made a promise that He would not destroy the land like that again. God wanted a way to get back with his people which is why he sent his son down as a living sacrifice. Jesus can be considered the telephone between distant family members. His death made a way for us(the children of God) to get back in contact with our father. No man can come unto the father but by Jesus. There will be no encore. When Jesus comes back all will have to stand for judgement. The world will then be destroyed by Fire.

God could be a mad scientist, but I think the mad part came after the disobedience. As for the scientist part, He/She probably is unless you think all the sciences and their laws just happened as a result of no planning and all natural laws just occurred coincidentally. What are the odds? Mathematicians, is one in 4,000,000,000 statistically significant? Is God still mad? Ask His son.

friend I dont believe God is just messing around with us like lab rats (although that is very creative I have never thought of it like that) I know He loves us and He truly wants us to good, He is perfect and true and someone who is perfect and true wouldnt want you to do bad just so He can punish. He loves and therefore He gives us a choice it is up to us to make the right ones... I hope that makes some sense

Grace: NT God...let there be light(only) & there was light
this God: is obviously "divided" about light and darkness
that God: that God is light(only) having no darkness at all
this God: only a Majesty on "high" in the divided "heavens"
that God: higher than the left/right heavens, in the "heaven"
To wit: "that God" was in "Christ"(the end of the law)
reconciling the world unto himself(the God of all grace)
"The God of all grace" make you "perfect"(merciful)
after ye(do err) suffer awhile with yer law/grace God
That God, is "the only wise God" (of foolish/wise Gods)
