Which would you get and why? One is obviously a lot less of a car, but it costs a lot less as well.

Last February, we wanted to buy a "nice" car and an "economy" car for the family. We decided on the Honda Accord V-6 EX sedan and the Honda Civic EX Sedan.
We were cross-shopping the Accord with the TSX (similar price, Accord had better acceleration but the TSX had better handling). We finally decided on the Accord because we were already getting a small car in the Civic and also because the idea of having to shell out for premium gas every time filled the tank just bugged me.
However, if we were to buy only one car instead of two, we probably would have chosen the TSX over the Civic. It handles beautifully, and is quieter and more comfortable than the Civic. However, just keep in mind that the cost of ownership (fuel, insurance, etc.) is going to be considerably higher for the TSX than the Civic. If you have that kind of money to spare, fine. If not, go with the Civic. It's a great little car.

I agree with the previous answer from carlos. I'd get the Honda Civic. You're paying for the name Acura. I bet you the insurance for TSX is higher than the Civic. I used to own an Integra, the predecessor of TSX, and it costed a fortune to insure.

honda civic. great car and handles very well. gas milage is excellent, its very safe, and its fun to drive. The acura tsx is not worth the extra money just to get the acura name. i own a civic and its so fun to drive.

i hate both. but if i had to choose it would be the TSX. but for the love of god dont put a soup can muffler on it.
