My client is past due almost $2000. He has owed this for over three months. At this point, I want to politely ask him to pay within the next week. We live on a private culdesac and our neighbors have a boat in front of their house in the street. When Sunday rolls around and we have Open House to sell our house, there's that boat, along with everyone's trucks kind of blocking the road so potential buyers of our house turn around and leave. Grandparents gave gr.daughter electronic gifts over the past year. When father and stepmother excercised right to discipline daughter(restrictions)by taking away those items, the gr.parents sided with the child against the father demanding and threatening the father to return the items to the child or else they would claim the items initially belonged to them by providing reciepts for the sale of the items. Both of the parents of the minor child in question have been divorced for over 2yrs with mother having 51% custody and father 49%. The gr.parents are using their influence to undermine the fathers right to parent. Could the father ask the courts for a restraining order against such gr.parents?? The daughter has since refused to visit with father on court ordered visitation days for the past seven weeks since the restrictions began due to poor academics and behavior.
