The witch in The Wizard of Oz wasn't a Wiccan. Wiccans embrace the idea of witchcraft but not all Wiccans practice it. Anyone from any religion can be a witch. The beliefs of Wicca weren't demonstrated in The Wizard of Oz and the term Wicca was never used. This makes sense since The Wizard of Oz came out in the 1930's and Wicca was popularized in the 1940's-50's.
There is a big difference between a Wiccan and a witch. There's also the fact that The Wizard of Oz is a work of complete fiction.

You're silly. Your questions are silly. You can't even spell, for goodness sake!
I happen to love the Wizard of Oz, just the same as I have since I was a child. I dislike that they used the image of an evil witch as the antagonist instead of, say, a hating, innocent-burning Christian, but what can you do? Baum was a Christian, raised in a time when Christianity was still at the forefront, and also at the time of the writing witches were seen as fake things that were inherently evil. Although notice that he does include Glenda. Glenda's awesome, even if the movie does make her a bit too sickeningly sweet.
Oh, and dogs are okay, but a little too needy for me. I'm a cat person. Aloof is a good thing. And I LOVE OREOS! Oreos are the best cookies ever made. I could eat a whole package of them in one sitting! Yummmmmm....

do some research on wiccans, you seem confused
wicca is an actual religion (yes, with REAL witches that occasionally do REAL spells), wizard of oz is just a movie.
so to answer your question, no it does not hurt, i do not feel sad, i dont hate dogs, i LOVE cookies (specially chocolate chip), just remember that wiccans and movie witches are two completely different things : )

No, you have it wrong. The wiccans play board games and then act them out, thinking that it's reality, killing their families.... No no wait. They cast phoney spells and then dupe themselves (with the help of halucinagenic drugs) into believing that they have some kind of power, unlike their pathetic lives in the real world.....

You obviously have no understanding at all of Wicca. People make fun of things that they fear; do we scare you that badly?
