Well, if you hit a home run, it depends on how many people are already on base. The highest you can get is a grand slam, which is four runs. That's because there's a person on first, second, and third, and then there's the batter, which makes the fourth. You can score by being batted in. If there's a player on third and a batter hits a single, making it to first base, then most likely the runner on third will make it home to score one.

~~~Edit~~~
So it doesn't necessarily have to be a home run. It can be a single, double, triple (how many bases the batter can run without getting out) or even a sacfly (which is a sacrifice fly out-ball goes in air and is caught by a fielder, but still scores someone). Runners can run even if the ball is out if there is one or less outs...2 outs means that the batter can be third out and end the inning, so nobody can run.
Hope this helps!
you score one point for every person who crosses home plate. When there are 2 or 3 men on base, and then a home run is hit, then you score the either 3 or 4 points. The 2 people on base score, and then the person who hit the home run scores. When 4 points are scored from one home run, then it is called a grand slam.
You get 1 run for a home run and that many more runs depending on how many runners were on base. The "biggest home run" is the Grand Slam (home run w/ the bases loaded).
That depends on what inning.
Odd innings counts as odd runs
Even innings counts as half as much times four divided by 6.
Now, all that changes when there are 5 outs and the batter swings the bat and misses the ball. he could run for days, unless he has a pulled hamsting and is wearing red sox on a tuesday afternoon during a get-away game.
Then the pitcher has to step on his toes with his laces untied to maintain balance.
All that is assuming the Umpire is wearing his glasses and does not call for time.
A homerun scores you plus whoever was on the base at the time.
for example 2 people on base it is a 3-run homerun
the biggest score is a grand slam - a 4-run homerun - a homerun with the bases loaded
