Check out http://www.bme.com/ for tattoos that were stated to be semi-permanent (meaning they "should" fade after a few years)....you'll find that it only fades part-way, and you are left with a big black splotchy blob. If you're going to go all the way, go to a tattoo shop, if you only want a temporary one, go with a stick-on. There is some stuff I found that removes tattoos without painful laser surgery, but I heard that it only works in some cases (it depends on what kind of ink was used in your tattoo) and it can be found at http://www.dermasal.com/ . Choosing a permanent tattoo is a big decision - make sure it's something you will want for the rest of your life if you go ahead with it. If you can't decide, may I suggest piercings? They're less painful and cheaper than tattoos, and they can be removed whenever you're bored of them.

If you are thinking about getting a tattoo I suggest you carry a picture of it around with you from 6 months to a year. If you still like it, and are positive about where you want to put it on your body, you should consider getting it. You have to be sure about it even if it fades because the skin there will never be the same. I got a 4 leaf clover on my back 4 years ago and I love it but some people hate thiers if they don't think about it beforehand.

Tatoos do not go away in a few years. Knowing that, it's your body and if you want to decorate it , it should be up to you. Your the one who has to live with it. Just remember to love what you get because you have to see it for the rest of your life.

I have tattos and so does my husband, so of course i like them. However, I do not think that it is the same kind of ink and stuff as the eyeliner kit uses. I am not sure how great it will look. You should just go to a shop and get it done if you want one. THen, you can choose from many colors, etc.

Any real tattoo shop will have so much art to choose from it's not even funny. They can also draw like mad - so your imagination is the limits. Dont get a tramp stamp - all girls have them. Instead get a small piece on your ankle or something

If you really want one, and are willing to take the chance go for it. Just show the kit to a dermatoligist to make sure it is okay to draw on yourself with. Also, make sure your mom does a neat job and doesn't mess it up because you'll have to live with it for two years!

If you really want a tatoo you will wait until you can have it done by a tatoo artist and have it done correctly.
