With the climatic changes, weather you believe in Global Warming or not, the Polar bears have been suffering because of the ice melt. Some bears are not surviveing the once 5 mile swim that is now 80 miles, (nor are some young seal pups who cannot keep up with their parents durring this migrant swim) The Polar Bears are starving and have resorted to canabilism to eat. Some drown, some starve ... it's not good.

I cannot help but think of future generations who will only know the Polar Bears as mythical extinct creatures that once were. Perhaps our grandchildren will be telling stories of the cool white bears that once were ... but probably still on a Coka Cola bottle.

Then I have to start thinking about, "What goes around, comes around." If the climate can potentially kill bears ... what about effects on humanity? I can accept "natural" changes if that all this is but, to me ... it's pretty sad.

Only 5 states carry a death penalty for child molesters who commit an act against a child under the age of 14, and even then, it's when they have committed a second offense. I think they should enforce it on the first offense.

I know it sounds like every parent but my 13 year old son is very gifted. He only comes home with A's on his report card, he taught himself to read music and has first chair in the middle school band, I could go on and on. My delima is how do I give him every oppurtinity to suceed in this world? He doesn't even know how gifted he is. He is a very humble boy and I want him to always be loving and in tune w/ others. I am a single mom struggling to make ends meet...I want to give him the world; how?

- Cyprus unites under a federation (Greeks vetoed this before) or
- North Cyprus Turkish Republic is recognised or
- Turkey joins EU
