Do you know of anyone who hurt themselves or someone else because of bipolar? I have a friend who is bipolar and am getting scary answers on another question regarding same issue. Do you or the person with the bipolar tend to start yelling at people on purpose just to get them mad at you? I mean even if they didn't do anything wrong? I know this sounds insane and I know he's not "insane". I fear something bad is going to happen to him in the near future (bad break-up) and it will NOT be a pretty site. Anything you can offer, I'd appreciate because I'm scared for him and his thoughts are WAY out of it right now. He's up right now but it won't be long before it goes the other way. He took meds a long time ago and went to counseling and he won't do it anymore. I feel like if I press the issue, he's just going to get mad and disappear from me. What kind of experience have you or others had??? HELP AND THANK YOU!!

I've had a friend for about a year. My problem is that she smells bad and I'm not sure if I should tell her... I've had a few people mention it to me. It never bothered me because I can't smell much (might be due to nasal polyps or due to a broken nose a few years ago)...Well today my sinuses must have cleared up because I just figured out what everyone in the office is referring to. Should I tell her or just let her be? I know I would want someone to tell me, especially if ppl in the office were talking about it...but then again, I do NOT want to hurt her feelings. (I can't tell if it's a food smell, like garlic, or an unshowered smell). Btw, this is NOT a joke. She's a close but not really close friend...What would you do?

If "marriage" were reserved for a male/female relationship, and a "civil union" allowed for same-sex relationships, and there were no other differences- rights, privilages, etc. how would you feel?

He's about 5 months old and he's a bigger sized dog. He always jumps on me or when I walk in front of him he'll get right in front of me. When I tell him no he doesn't pay a whole lot of attention and when I smack him-no matter how hard- he thinks I'm playing and it gets him more excited. I don't know what to do because I know he's just being friendly and he doesn't know what he is doing is bad but I need to get him to stop. (I can't afford obedience class)

My boyfriend is thinking seriously about buying a house 6 hours south of where we live now in. He wants me to move with him.
