If "marriage" were reserved for a male/female relationship, and a "civil union" allowed for same-sex relationships, and there were no other differences- rights, privilages, etc. how would you feel?

Please identify your own relationship preference.
I don't mean this question to start fights, I'm just looking for opinions from both sides.

I believe marriage is meant for a man and women. If you want to have a civil union between man/man or female/female, that's your business. I just don't want to be a part of it.

I'm married with 2 kids, and I believe that marriage was set up for bringing children into the world, and for companionship, love, all the other things that come with marriage.
