This August I'll be taking my VW Golf to move from WA to New York and I've heard that it's all tolls from Wisconsin to NY, but I can't figure out how much the tolls will total. We'll be taking I-90 and probably I-94 from Billings to Chicago. Has anyone made this trip recently and remember approximately how much it cost?

I'm heading to Seattle in a few weeks, and while I'm out of town a friend will be watching my place. I had planned on getting her a bottle of wine for the trouble, but I'd also like to bring her back something with a little pacific northwest character. (IE: no space needle snow-globes, or Starbucks #1 cups).

Any suggestions on something neat to bring back? Keep in mind that this doesn't have to be a touristy item... in fact probably better if it isn't.

I know everyone says Pike Place Market, but is there somewhere else that's not overpriced for the tourists?

1) I'm moving from L.A. to Seattle and want to know how many days of gloom per week I should expect? Is it mostly gloomy WITH rain, or just mostly gloomy withOUT rain?

2) I'm a 36 y.o. single woman. What part of Seattle is a nice place to live, where there are people my age, coffee houses, art galleries, pets, etc?

Thanks!

Alright this question is kinda out there but I thought I would give it a try on this answer thing.

I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend this coming weekend who lives in Seattle and I'm from California. I've been going up to see her for awhile now however trying to be CREATIVE in a territory that's not my own is turning out to be challenging.

Can someone who's familiar with Seattle give me anything to work with...anything!?

Hi. Please help me out here! Anyways, I was recently admitted to the University of Puget Sound and I have a strong incentive to go there but I know nothing about the weather there and only hear bad things, though I live in California and nothing really compares to that so it is biased anyways :)
If you could please help me out, that would be greatly appreciated!

Let's assume I'm not a complete bum (IE: educated, good looking, outdoorsy, movie/theatre lover, etc). Let's also assume that I'm not the guy who prefers to spend weekend nights at the bar picking up on women.

What's the dating scene like in Seattle/Belleview/ WA in general? Good/bad/ugly places to meet singles? How have your dating experiences been?

Me: 30's, software engineer, finishing a graduate degree. Usually prefer the suburbs or quieter neighborhoods to the city.

Nearby Cities I should consider? Job market woes I should know about? Bad/good companies to work for? General living things to consider? (Flooding, heavy rains, depression)

Or you can give me your personal experience about relocating there.

Thanks!

For years nickles been trying to get financeing for the monorail, When financeing became available you canceled all the permits and tried to canceled the whole project. the financeing would not only take care of putting mono-rails all over the city , includeing paveing all streets, and whatever else was needed at NO COST to the PEOPLE. Same financeing is still available thru comlone@msn.com at no extra cost.
