It's possible because the climate and vegetation is very similar.

Uh, HELLO! Pacific Northwest. You are only separated by a few miles and believe me a Fir Tree is a Fir Tree is a Fir Tree. There isn't much difference; having grown up in Oregon and suffered allergies all of my life, to almost everything growing on earth. If you have allergies you are living in the wrong part of the world. But if you have to stay there, get treatment. I did and have never regretted it.
Go to an old fashioned allergist; have scratch tests (they are tedious and hurt, but they are the only way to find out your allergies) ... and then take the serum treatments.
You will find you almost never have allergy problems. If you aren't willing to do that, take Zyrtec.
good luck

i have self assurance u may, cuz Seattle isn't too a procedures from Portland, and they both share a similar climate "moist and funky", and Spring is right here, so more beneficial pollen will be floating round. The cities actually have different similar timber and flora. Sorry about your hypersensitive reactions, it maximum be awful. I also heard that "cloudy, gray skies" can impression your hypersensitive reactions too. you should attempt someplace dry, like the SouthWest.

Hello!!!! Seattle is 150 miles from Portland, and their climates are practically the same. If you have allergies in Portland, you're going to have them up here too!

I'm afraid our plants and trees are mostly the same as in Portland. Our pollution rate is higher too.
Sorry I couldn't give you nicer news. I suffer from allergies too.
