I need about two fulltime jobs, one day and one night. But right now a night position first is preferable. Too much drama here. The question is, out of experience, what are some TRUTHFULLY fulltime jobs (entry positions) around about San Antonio? I'm looking for $7.50 hourly minimum. Almost six years stocking experience, five of that sales experience.

what motivates a person(s) to mutilate, torture, and kill an innocent creature that only wants to give love? the killer is stalking cats in people's back yards and cutting off limbs and hacking in them in half until they die. i encourage anyone with information to contact the san antonio police dept. i am not the perpetrator or a victim...just a concerned citizen who wants this awful person caught and severely punished.
please be vigilant. thank you.

I relocated to SA a week ago with a few (weekly) pay checks because there is a college that I want to attend....the day after I arrived I went to the workforce commission and called some temp. agencies....I have gotten a few bites but nothing really serious....I am freaking out here....why is it so hard? I seperated from my husband so I feel all alone here...hopeless! I am a medical assistant but I told my brother who lives here that I will just go find a job waiting tables or something to get me by until I can get a job I want....he said that even that is difficult to do....so I am thinking of packing it in and running home to mom with my tail between my legs...but that is 5 hours away and will still not help my efforts at job searching....can anyone help me? This is so scary....

The milk has gone from $3.99 to $5.99
The sharp cheddar cheese is now $3.69
The eggs are now $3.99 a dozen
Dasani water has risen to $4.99 for 24 bottles
I don't eat it but I've noticed that fish has really gone up...salmon is now $23.99 a pound!

Yesterday I went to go out and eat and the dinner I usually get is $9.49 last night it was $13.95!!!

Last saturday I bought groceries (a cart full) and my total came to $303.01, I was shocked...And groceries includes food, cleaning supplies, trash bags, detergent, dishwasher soap.

Now that I'm on that subject, gasoline is $2.75 near where I live. I miss the days of $1.20 a gallon...I know well never see that again.

I am traveling, with my 2 year old grandson, to Texas next week. Since I am travelling alone the less I have to carry the easier things will be. For this reason I was looking for a Wal-Mart in San Antonio so I could get his diapaers and wipes and such. That is when I discovered that there are at least 20 Wal-marts surrounding the city of San Antonio so now I need some help.

I will be arriving at the San Antonio International Airport and staying at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites on Panam Expressway, about a mile and a half away from the Walters Street Entrance to Fort Sam Houston Army Post.

I am hoping that someone from the area will be able to tell me which Wal-Mart will be the easiest to get to between the Airport and the Hotel.

Thank you.

I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma right now. And I'm looking for a dramatic change in living. I've already heard that there is never a dull moment living there. But I've heard some things about San Antonio and I want to know if they're true or not.
1. You have to speak Spanish to live there.
2. Finding a job there without knowing Spanish is difficult
3. Meeting people is difficult.

Are any of these rumors true? And are there any key facts I need to know before I move?

I have driven before taking 190-east to I-35 S, but I always seem to get stuck in a time warp; it takes me at least 3 hrs. Also, I-35 seems to have it in for me. Can anyone who is familiar with the drive offer an alternative route that might be quicker?
