I have had the opportunity to travel all around the US and to other countries, and also to visit every area of Texas. I have found that there is beauty to be found in every place you visit. And while I love to visit all the other places in the country, and the world, and travel a lot, I choose to live in the Texas Hill Country and San Antonio area. I think Texas has so much to offer, and you can have many great experiences right here in the state.

I was born and raised in New England near the sea coast a really beautiful place, I could easily say that same for most of Europe and for a number of Asian countries. I have lived and visited all over the United States and frankly everywhere has something special about it, but Texas is in a class by itself. We have our "piny woods" to the east mountains to the west, we have our own sea coast. There is the Hill Country, nothing could be prettier that the Hill country in the spring with it's wild flowers.
We have every type of topography that can be found and our weather ranges from snow and sleet in the north to warm and sunny most of the time to the south.
I can find what every I might want right here. I own a small place out in the hills that I hunt on and I usually have a friends that go with me. The family gatherings on Sundays and the BBQ in the back yard, this is the place for the family and that means all three generations. So my answer to you whe you ask, "what do you think about Texas?" I have to respond by saying, "It is home and I would not want to live anywhere else."

I wouldn't live in any other state than Texas...I was born and raised there...and love it.
Of course there's places I wouldn't dare live such as Lubbock...that's a "Will somebody shoot me" place...NOTHING TO DO!!!
Other than that...I live in Austin and I love it. I was born in San Antonio and I'm there weekly to go back home...it's so close.

i'm from northern minnesota but my uncle lives down there. i absolutely love san antonio - esp the shopping - the people seem super nice too except in the bad parts of town (more away from the city) there are people who were chasing after our car and cursing at us. i guess it depends on what part. the six flags there rocks too haha

Fine place to live and it stops America drifting off into the Pacific Ocean.

Texas was once an independent country(Republic of Texas)1836-1845 with its own Declaration of Independence,a Constitution,an army and a navy. It also had its own money(Texas dollar- was valued at one fourth of American dollar).

I live in Irving, smack-dab in the heart of the DFW metroplex, and it is one of the best places on Earth.
