San Antonio

I will be moving to SA tx in October can anyone tell me what areas to avoid looking for housing and why. What shoudlI consider close to downown? or away? please help, and I dont have a job yet so location close to job would not apply..is October a good month to move there? ie looking for a job, weather ect.Please help. Thank you

I have a chance for employment at Toyota in San Antonio.

Reading around about San Antonio's safe areas to live, the only side that seems to get recommended is the north side. Particularly the south is deemed unsafe but that is where Toyota is located.
I would need an apartment, not a house. I can't seem to find any good reviews of south side apartments.
Is it a pain to commute from north to south? how is traffic?

Hello everyone, my mom is in the hospital and Im planning on flying down to see her for a week and if she's well enuough to go out take her out and spoil her a bit. I will be traveling there the last week of October, with my grandson, to see my daughter graduate from her Combat Medic Training at Fort Sam Houston and I have no clue how to pack. In Baltimore it is still comfortably warm during the mid to late afternoon but mornings and evenings are getting quite cool.

Sorry Im just getting real upset over silly things ugh...
Ok, mother in hospital needs kidney transplant. I'm flying overseas to san antonio and I need a motel that is NOT expensive but safe...I need it to be near the university hospital (medical center) but also near to the airport area (where mom lives for if she checks out). I'll be staying a week and I don't drive, so I'd like a motel that at least has a restaurant or market walking distance from it. Does anyone know of an Inn or motel that fits these guidlines?! Thank you SO MUCH in advance!!! I know nothing about san antonio or the states!!
