I will be in Phoenix about 4 days before the super bowl, I know about the nfl interaction thing with cards and throwing footballs and stuff but what else is going on that week, looking for more adult stuff like big parties with lots of beer drinking ect...

I lived in a town in Phoenix for 8 months about 6 years ago and hated it...just because I was an angry teenager born and raised in Florida and hated the idea of moving away but now that I'm older, I like the idea of moving to Arizona and one day raising a family there. Think about it...no natural disasters...it's hot as hell but there's no humidity and I'd much rather be dry hot than wet hot...it doesn't snow (I know it snows in places like Flagstaff) but it gets chilly enough to make it feel like x-mas...any thoughts or opinions about Arizona?

How many days do I need for the Grand Canyon? I am not interested in going down it on a donkey, or in white-water rafting, or in any other outdoor activities. I just want to see and photograph it from various viewing points. How much time for the painted desert and the petrified forest?

I HEARD SO MUCH STUFF ABOUT IT! I HAVE TO GO TO CESAR CHAVEZ NEXT YEAR AND I HEARD IT IS ONE OF THE MOST HORRIBLE SCHOOLS IN ARIZONA!!
my family including me just moved to laveen and arent happy with the schools. next year i have to go to cesar chavez!

I'm from mississippi and have visited southern california and driven through phoenix, so I'm not too acquainted with phoenix. Im 19 about to turn 20...I want to attend school, skateboard, just have fun. Ive found decent places to live with similar rents in san diego and phoenix so I'm just wondering if anyone was in a similar situation to mine and how things fared out along with suggestions, pros/cons.

Who's been to a concert at Glendale arena? If you buy tickets for a general admission (GA) floor location, is it like a free for all where everyone rushes up to grab the closest seats...You leave your spot, you lose it... type of thing???? Or are these seats assigned?
