Rolling hills...below is the city website. As well there is a land development website with pictures of the area. If you click on the "Land" link, you will get a lot of pictures of vistas around Snowflake.
As for things to do, you are not very far from the White Mountains, which are absolutely beautiful. Tons to do around there--especially if you like the outdoors.

Snowflake is High dessert with scrub oak and pinion trees colder than phoenix by about 20 degrees nice summers and cool winters(snowy) nice Mormon backed town close to Show low. close nature too. wide open.. great landscapes for painters too.

Mormon mountain terrain,also a guy go abducted by aliens there a while ago,also prejudice people , my wife is white me Greek and they thought i was mexican,told me to quit touching the white lady. but all in all nice mountain country.
