I live in Michigan but I REALLY want to visit Arizona. I just think it'll be beautiful there. But I'm a college student so I don't wanna be bored when I get there. Any suggestions on where I should go please?

I'm spending 2 days in the Phoenix area next month. It's a short getaway during the week with my husband. Are there any suggestions/ideas/attractions/restaurants that are a "must see or do" in or surrounding the city center? I'm very flexible to all ideas- from simplicity to sky's the limit, adventure to romantic. Two days is not a lot of time, but we're willing to make our stay worthwhile and memorable. We'll have transportation, so commuting to nearby cities will not be a problem.

I find that there are cars in Phoenix that would just pull up in front of me and offer me a ride. They also often stop to offer me rides. Do you know why they do that and should you ever accept a ride from them?? Also, is the gang activity really bad here and unsafe to live here and what are the good and bad areas to look out for??

Its going to be my friends 15th birthday and we wanna make it a blast! My other friend and I are going to kidnap her (with her parents aware) and take her out on the town. We have a couple of ideas of what we'd like to do but nothing really good. Can you please give us some ideas of things to do. We can drive and have money we just need something crazy and fun to do (legal tho). It has to be in phx or in the surrounding cities like: mesa, glendale, tempe etc... Help please. problems with METHAMPHETAMINE, GANGS, VIOLENCE, and urban troubles with volumes of traffic.

Also, it was 110 degrees there (just last week). Do you think PHOENIX is a great place to live ? Employment opportunities ?
Social interactions with different races and types of people ?

I liked visiting there, but the HEAT was REPRESSIVE. And the young "gangsta-tough" mentality is a BIG TURN-OFF FOR ME !!

We are taking a driving vacation in a couple of weeks, Phoenix to the Grand Canyon and back. I am wondering if there is a good place to stop around Flagstaff where we can fish without a boat, maybe off a pier, that is stocked. The kids are 9 and 11 and we have never been fishing before; just want to try it out.
