If you are in Tucson or Phoenix..The public parks have lakes that are stocked. Fish at sunrise and sunset to avoid the heat. Lot's of channel cat and bluegills for the kids to catch. Otherwise travel to a higher elevation...like Show Low Lake, Lake Mary by Flagstaff. I'd still fish early or late in the day. Oak Creek Canyon has a lot of shady areas and a Pay per fish spot or two. And it is very scenic between Sedona and Flag. Good Luck...ENJOY!!!

You would definitely have to go up north to avoid the 110 degree weather. Otherwise there are plenty of lakes that you can fish at that aren't so far north - Tempe Town Lake, Lake Pleasant, Bartlett Lake...up north you can go to Sedona and fish along Oak Creek Canyon...if you REALLY want your kids to catch something, there is a Trout Farm in Sedona where you can fish for free - and then you pay for the fish if you want to keep them...they also have turtles and koi fish that you can feed for 25 cents for a handful of fish food.

since u got kids...u can check out the fish farm...they dont let you keep the fish, catch and release. i'm not sure on all the farms, but the one by sedona is like that. and its not 110, maybe 80s-90s. if u want to catch and keep the fish, then try fishing in northern arizona. i havent tried anything up north yet, but i've seen people at mormon lake. theres got to be lakes around flagstaff as well

maybe you can find or make an indoor AIRCONDITIONED U-FISH.
get a big above ground swimming pool, and put it in an arena...
License still required.
Hey you can throw some SAGUARO spines in there for snag hazzards, Big rocks... etc.
okay seriously, uh, LAKE PLEASANT, GO JUST BEFORE SUNUP it will only be like 80-85 degrees, if you have a boat look out for snags, if not look out for hags..lol.
What is that other BEAUTIFUL lake, HAVASU?
I think Lake HAVASU, BEAUTIFUL, huge deep lake.
Still go early, leave early.
Now I was in PHX. for 5 years, but I never did any fishing...
GOOD LUCK
