me and my closest friends are planning on moving to arizona in a few months after we raise enough money and get our student loans approved. were planning on going to college and what not, were from michigan and we hate it. were musicians so we'll be forming a band and were in to that green plant that is so taboo. is this a good idea for us>

I have recently been offered a job position with my company in Phoenix, AZ. I live in Chicago and have lived in this climate all of my life. Does it have a good younger culture or is it all snow birds (retirees)? Can anyone help shed some light on what life is like there?

Hollister Co. is supposed to open in Feista Mall soon, but they have been saying that for a while, and nothing much is happening!!
I've checked the website of Hollister and Feista and asked a few people, no one know.

My friends want to take a road trip to Philadelphia in a couple of months.....and the farthest i've ever driven was from las vegas to phx, az. So am I in over my head here? I would like to get out of the midwest and relocate to the southwest. (Can't stand the cold winters and humid summers here). I know that Tucson and Phoenix would be too big for me. Has anyone here been to, or lived in Yuma? How's the ecomomy, crime rate, cost of living, etc. Thanks!

We lived in Phoenix a few times in the past. We moved out of it 2 months ago because the city is bigger and not what it used to be anymore. Im disppointed. And please give me good cities I could check into like San Antonio, TX or Charlotte, NC for example. We live in our hometown temporarily til we find our home.

I've been looking at the numerous bars/nightclubs in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe, but have no idea which one to go to.

4 guys in their 20s, coming down to the Suns game on Fri Nov 23, and want to go out after (Probably the only night we will be going out). I was thinking maybe Cherry Lounge or Margarita Rocks in Tempe, since they are located along Mill Ave and we can easily bar hop. I'm not too sure if there are areas in Phoenix or Scottsdale that are similar. Is it worth getting bottle service anywhere? Will the bars be busy on the Thanksgiving long weekend?

I'm going to be 25 by the time I move there in fall of 2009. I plan on attending ASU for grad school. Where is a good place for a young, middle-class couple to live? I'd prefer somewhere a little north of Phoenix in the hopes of a bit cooler weather, but we'd still need to commute into Phoenix for work and school. Anyone know of any affordable cities north of Phoenix for a young couple to live?
