My husband and I are looking to take a vacation. Has anyone ever been to the Wildlife Safari Park in Winston Oregon? Is it worth the trip? Did you have a great time?

We are buying second hand and will be travelling in the summer mainly SW states, We are looking for either 24-27ft max Fifth wheel or up to 30ft max camper. We are planning mainly National Parks/State Parks, not too many towns and like to walk/bike a lot. We dont want to tow a car! We just can't make our minds up!

For those of you that missed The Now Show on Friday

Go on to Googlemaps http://maps.google.co.uk/

Click on the "get directions" tab.

As your starting point enter Chicago and make your destination London then hit the enter button.
I was fine with it right up to instruction 20

Anyone up for the challenge?

I love to go on weekend trips with my 10 yr old son and sometimes a 3rd person. I usually stay in a hotel using Priceline but I thought a pop up camper or other small camper would be more fun with building a fire at night and meeting other campers, etc. I would probably want a campground with showers since I would prefer not to get too expensive a camper having a shower.

If anyone knows of a link to official information, that would be helpful. I've checked various sites and can find requirements for licensing but they don't address this specific question. I've been told it is legal in LA, to drive with an adult family member prior to obtaining a permit, but can't find official confirmation of this anywhere. I'm also wondering about other states in the Southeast.
