There are beaches in Wisconsin on Lake Michigan. The beaches surround the lake and are kept up by the Wisconsin government. However, because of the cold weather, they do not have palm trees since those are strictly tropical plants. My husband is from Wisconsin and when I first went there to visit, I was very surprised about it. Hope this helps!:)

Hah! I wish. I live in Green Bay, WI. We have a lot of beaches around Lake Michigan, some pretty nice ones actually, and on smaller lakes and rivers all over the state. No palm trees, they would die in the winter.
If you ever have a chance to visit, I probably wouldn't. =)
