My husband and I are looking to take a vacation. Has anyone ever been to the Wildlife Safari Park in Winston Oregon? Is it worth the trip? Did you have a great time?

The Wildlife Safari Park can be a fun day trip. I don't know that I would make it a vacation destination (unless I already lived within 200 miles or planned on taking in other Oregon sites as well, like the Oregon Caves, Crater Lake, the Coast).
A coolish overcast day is your best bet to see the animals closest and at their most active. It's a great place to take photo's of wild animals.
Be sure to take in the Birds of Prey exhibition and the reptile exhibition.
We used to go there every other year or so (we lived two hours away at the time). And yes, it is worth it!
