My husband and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary in June. We want to find a great beach (with some pretty good waves), some night life, good food, etc. We would prefer to go to a beach in the south eastern states (we live in Tennessee). Any suggestions?

We want to get away from our city and just get out and see our country. We live in Kansas City so anywhere in the US is an option.

Where should we go, what should we do...?

I am considering moving to a larger place and wondered how the people, nightlife, cultural aspects, etc would compare. I like Tallahassee but am looking for something a little more on the move for a 30-something single professional.

I have always lived along the south east coast, around trees, rivers, lakes, ponds and I love the outdoors. Fishing has always been my favorite passtime but I just generally love to be outdoors. My children were born and raised around the ocean and I'm trying to decide if I should take a job in Vegas. HELP!!!
