Youngstown is definitely a city in self destruct mode. Having lived here al my life I have seen it go down hill with every year that passes. The only redeeming factor in this city is the fact that they have a huge beautiful City Park.

you will pick a time gadget. there have been no Northern cities that remotely extra wholesome this description by potential of employing certainty the clean Air Act grew to develop into ignored 50 years in the previous. additionally, over the terrific 30 years, company cities have all had their soot and coal-blackened properties wiped clean and restored to their unique splendour. and multiple of the industry has long long previous now to boot. optimal cities (in all factors of england) have some factors that are bleak looking, yet for thoroughly distinctive motives e.g. chavs, Nineteen Seventies concrete properties, and multiple of clutter and graffiti. and that i'm no longer having any of this "grim up north" rubbish. Even in the previous the clean Air Act grew to develop into surpassed, London grew to develop into extra polluted and disgusting than any Northern city. The clean Air Act grew to develop into partly a reaction to London's great Smog of 1952.

Youngstown, hands down.
Toledo at least has the lake. As disgusting as it may be, it's still a waterfront.
