We want to get away from our city and just get out and see our country. We live in Kansas City so anywhere in the US is an option.

Where should we go, what should we do...?

Any tips?

I wish I knew more about you....are you into the party scene? Or history? Or just want to see "new things"?

I'm an East Coat girl and one of the things I sorta miss being in the midwest now is all the stuff on the East Coast and how close they were to each other. NYC, Philly, Baltimore and DC were all within 5 hours of each other. You could easily spend 1-2 weeks doing just something like that.

You could head down to the beaches of Florida (or Texas...I've never been though).

You could head to the Colorado/Utah area and get some serious hiking in (we did that last summer)....I'm sure that expands to AZ and NM as well.

Those would be my three suggestions.

In my kin we circulate on street journeys consistently and the youngsters have in no way had any subjects. they generally sleep for a minimum of a million/2 of the time, so there is 6 hours down. i might say for greater or less 5 hours he will in all probability only look out the window and play and then perhaps for an hour he would be a sprint greater energetic. for the reason that there are 2 adults interior the automobile you may match together with him in the process the force. enable him sleep yet whilst he wakes up examine to him, sing songs, communicate relating to the atmosphere and are available up with little video games. purchase some little toys from the greenback keep so he gets something new. convey snacks and beverages. you do not might desire to stop each 2 hours, yet stop 2-thrice in the process the completed trip and enable him run around for greater or less 20 minutes. Or force in the process the night as much as you may. There are 2 of you who can force so take turns switching. you may the two force previous due into the night, leave early interior the morning, or force all night long. Then he might desire to sleep the completed time.

I take it you are talking about Kansas City Missouri/Kansas, not Kansas City Oregon or Tennessee. You could go see the Black Hills, or Nasheville, Texas is interesting, or you could go to Las Vegas if you feel like partying.

When my husband graduated from high school, he and his friends took a road trip and visited all the baseball parks in California (where he lived). If you're a baseball fan, it could be fun. There are several stadiums/baseball teams in the midwest.

The Grand Canyon is amazing, too. There are many national parks where you could go camping/ hiking. Try Yosemite or Yellowstone.

just go... get on the interstate and just drive... if you see a town that sounds fun then stop there..... or if you wanted a more planned out trip maybe go to yellow stone or the grand canyon or places like that. maybe if you haven't seen the ocean you should head for the coast. anywhere would be good and fun with your friends.
