Hey everyone! I'm going to disney world in a week. I've never been before, and I'd love any tips you have. I'm going with my family-my brother and I are in our early teens. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We will be there from November 16 to the 20th. Will Christmas decorations be up? Thank you soo much for any tips or information about anything Disney.

I am traveling down 95 from Virginia to Orlando and want to stop at the beach for a couple of hours on my way. What beach should my fiance, his 8-year-old daughter and I go to? We plan to go to Cocoa Beach on Sunday. Should we go there on the way as well?

My friend is very nervous about driving on the "wrong" side of the road - and she is planning on using public transport. She plans to include a trip to SeaWorld.
I would have said it was impossible, but perhaps you know more than I do.

My boyfriend and I are spending 5 days at Walt Disney World in Orlando from Dec 4 - 9. I'm about to make meal reservations but I'd love some input on great places to eat that are a part of the disney dining plan. We have the park hopper passes, so I don't mind going from one resort to another if i I have to.

Also, any tips on making reservations (ie, times or specific things to ask for) would be appreciated!

I am a Florida resident, but I was wondering when there were the biggest discounts and least busiest times. I would like to stay in a hotel there, and the time would preferably be within the next few months, (November, December, January). Thanks for your help!

Got back from Orlando last night, loved every bit of being there, however, the wind would carry a nasty rotting cheese smell, what is it? every part of orlando had it, even the theme parks, nasty cheese.

We are going to be in Orlando Florida Thanksgiving day and the following week after.
I used to live in Boca back in the late 80's and can't remember what the weather was like.

I have two boys, ages 11 and 14, and I don't know what to pack!
Tank tops, shorts?

What is the average daily temp during the day, and then in the evening?

Pants, coat for the evening?
This will really help out if someone can tell me what to pack, because I don't want to bring the whole closet with me, if you know what I mean. lol

Ok, I know some of you are going to say look it up on an Almanac, but those of you who live there or visit that time of the year is a much better source.

I just got back from disney world in orlando for my honeymoon at all four of the major parks there were these little black and orange bugs that looked like they had two heads one on each end, it could have been mating, they looked kind of like lightning bugs any idea as to what these are, i saw them the most on the indy car ride in the magic kingdom

Has anyone gone to the Luau at the Royal Pacific Hotel in Universal Studios, Florida?
Tell me your experience and if you had children under the age of 14 where there foods for picky eaters?
They are pretty expensive and we are trying to decide if we want to do this.

I did not get a transportation ticket. So I am thinking about either seeing launch from KSC visitor center or seeing it from Space View Park Titusville.
But I don't know how early I should be in The Space View Park to get a parking spot (and a good spot to see launch as well).

If I have to get there way too early, I may rather spend time in KSC visitor center. Otherwise, I may try Space View Park.

Any experience? any advice?

Anyone go to Haloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios in Orlando? We took my 16-year-old son and his best friend. It was very intense, disturbing. They know EXACTLY how to scare you !!

It was during "homecoming" for a high school last Saturday. Thousands of people were there that night. Was wild and fun.

I just got home from a vacation to Maui, and it made me realize how much I love the ocean. I'm considering the Orlando area as there are a lot of hotels there and that is my work background. I was wondering if anyone on here knows how hard it is to get those kind of hotel jobs (office area, management, etc.) and where you would recommend around the Orlando area for safe areas but where I can still at least see the ocean. Would be willing to do apartments at first until I get my feel for the area. Thanks!!

to live there? and is the cost of living cheap? I don't live Las Vegas at all and feel this city isn't meant for raising children here. Me and my husband both love the beach and think Orlando is better than California. Can someone shed some light about living there?
