I like it better. I think the changes they made are just right. They didn't change too much, just enough to bring it up-to-date.

The Haunted Mansion is my favorite attraction at DisneyLand and Walt Disney World. been to both many times, the last time I went to DL they had changed the Haunted Mansion inside to the Nightmare before Christmas theme. it was clever, but not as enjoyable as the original.. I hope the change to the mansion at WDW isnt the same as DL, if so, I can definately say I wont like it..

I will have to look into it and see what WDW has done to the mansion...

I would also like to go the Phantom Manor at the DisneyLand Paris Park.. I hear the DL park in Tokyo is the same as California..

I like it. Its subtle and still keeps with the classic Haunted Mansion ride. If they tried to modernize it or update it anymore I would be upset. That ride holds fond memories from my childhood.

I'm not overly fond of it. I thought the room with the bride was the creepiest, especially because all it played was that loud heartbeat. That's all re-done now. Also, I liked in the graveyard how the ghouls would pop up and scream, just enough to make you jump. Alas, that is also no more. :(

I think it is wonderful to update and refresh the attraction.

I have ridden it a number of times since it has opened, and I must say that I am well pleased! The new effects, and additions are just amazing! I love it!

So much fun and it is like riding it for the first time again.
