I keep hearing that Miami beach has partying. Does this mean you have to be a golden, tight, wild body to feel at home? My boyfriend and I booked a hotel in South Beach. I think it's on Ocean Drive. We're both relaxed, low-key and really are just looking for a place to have fun swimming and basking in the sun; a romantic get-away. Families go there too right, so it'll be okay to just chill? Any advice? I'm so worried because I don't have an idea what it's like.

I've been looking at the Deauville Beach Resort. Has anybody stay there?

If not, where did u go, was it nice? clean? near the beach/restaurant, etc?

I am having an author speak on the beach. I've already talked to the city hall and asked for a permit, but I just need to know which section of the beach I should use, since I'm not really familiar with it. And if you are suggesting a section, could I have a landmark along with it so that I can find it? And why you chose it would be nice too.

Am I the only one that feels this way. Everyone insults it but when you think about it it's less dangerous than west palm beach and more interesting than most of the state. So why does everyone insult it? I know it has problems but it's better than the other dry areas in the state.
