I am planning a florida vaction in December what is the weather like in Miami that time of year? And is that a good time to visit??

December is the best time to visit Miami, the only problem with that is alot of other people are down here too. But the weather is great. Don't expect anything colder than 65F during the day and nothing colder than 48F at night. The coldest it will ever get is 39-42F and it can get as warm as 85F during the day. Expect great weather. 70s-60s, water should stay warm since it is the water coming from the gulf stream. No rain as winter is the dry season for Florida.

December is a great time to visit because you just miss hurricane seasons end by about a month...the weather is nice...sunny usually...but not hot....temperature can range anywhere from 60F-85F...so on the cool and warm side...it depends...sometimes we get those cold fronts(well at least what i consider cold) and we hit the 50s....so just check up on the weather in Miami online a couple weeks and week before you leave...and then you can prepare for what is forecasted...the weather is pretty calm at that time...

It's a great time of year to visit Miami. The weather is still pretty warm...I remember doing Christmas shopping one year and it was in the upper 80's. In December, the rainy season is over, so you'll enjoy sunshine most of your vacation.
It doesn't hurt to bring a sweatshirt or two just in case of a coldfront..but unlikely you'll need it.

Miami and Miami Beaches are very cold for the locals,but,
I have seen people from NY,Ohio,Minnessota,Canada ,Etc.
Surfing in thongs. in december.

take a light jacket nothing more. I won't get too cold. December in south Florida is really nice. A little cold though.

It depends. I live in FL and this past Christmas it was 75 degress but that doesnt mean we dont have occasional cold fronts..bbrrr..
