Las Vegas

So I got the chance to go to Las Vegas but my uncles and aunts invited themselves too, so about eight of us are all going to be in the same car on a ten hour drive to there. Among them is my annoying aunt who won't shut up and may just drive us insane.

So, is Las Vegas really so great that it's worth all this trouble?

I'm looking for a great first time hotel at a good cost. Most important features are CLEAN COMFORTABLE beds. I would like a room on the strip. Any suggestions. I have never been there.

I miss the sound of coins clanking in the payout tray. I miss the feel of real money. These slips of paper given out of the slot machine make gambling such a dull experience. I don't play the slots anymore.

I am a lead for a custodian crew in a casino.
Next year we will expand the casino with a 5 Star Hotel.
I would like to prepare my crew on how to clean a 5Star Hotel and Casino as early as possible. I am really not sure what the 5 Stars mean. I thank for any input.

A bunch of us are going to Vegas this weekend. People keep telling me that the 15 fwy to Vegas is going to be closed for construction. I looked on CalTrans and Traffic.com and it only says that the lanes will be reduced to one lane each direction from Barstow to Baker. Does anyone have any info to help us out.

I am planning on going to Vegas March 8-11th and have no clue what to wear. I'm a single mom and don't get to get out much, so I wanna have as much fun as possible and wear skirts and dresses and look prettied up LOL (single moms will understand) If you can help, it's greatly appreciated. Oh, I also just plan on doing the normal tourist thing, sightseeing, walk around a lot, maybe one classy dinner... not quite sure.

Stayed @ a Spa/ Resort Hotel. What's up with all those charges??Room service has a service charge + gratuity. Then $20 resort fees per day, even if you don't use any of the stuff (gym,pool,ect.).It's really a rip-off....Is there anyone out there that's mad too? Did I mention I spent $83 for breakfast.

For instance, if you use Priceline.com, if you want a 5 star hotel in Las Vegas, NV using priceline, it will automatically give you the Venetian (Not showing as the Venetian before selecting, but the 5 star choice is only the Venetian). Because priceline only has contracts with the Venetian. Which does Hotwire have contracts with for a 5 star hotel in Las Vegas, NV? (Bellagio, The Resort at Mandalay Bay (Not the hotel "Mandalay Bay"), Wynn, Venetian)?
