Bellagio is beautiful and its water fountain puts on a great show every 20 mins I think. O is the cirque de soleil show in Bellagio. It's fantastic. Cirque has another show called Mystere. I think it's in Treasure Island or Mirage. I can't remember. Go see Hoover Dam. Whatever you do, don't bother with the Liberace tour. Best shops have to be at the Venetian Hotel. If you enjoy a spa day, Canyon Ranch Spa is at the Venetian and it is fabulous. If you like Prince, he's in Vegas now. Check out the Las Vegas city site or convention bureau site, they should give you a listing of all the hotels in Vegas and what they have to offer.
Whatever you do, wear comfortable shoes. Walking to next door can be a hike! Be warned!!!

Make sure you see a Cirque show while you're here. 'O' at Bellagio is good - KA at MGM is worth checking out and Mystere at TI. Tickets range from $85 - $150+ but they are all well worth it. La Reve at Wynn is also a good show. Fremont street is somewhat like old Vegas - but not so much anymore - worth a $2 bus ride to go check out, just don't wander far from the casinos especially at night :) All of the hotels have some type of attraction, so just pick up some visitors guides or check out vegas.com - If you're looking for some awesome clubs while you're there, check out VooDoo Lounge at Rio, Light at Bellagio, Tryst @ Wynn, and Studio 54 @ MGM Grand. Hope this helps!

You have two choices here- rental car or take a taxi. If you rent a car, you'll pay a lot for parking it. If you take a taxi, it is very expensive as well. Neither one is the better choice.
There is a lot to see in Las Vegas. One night, just drive down the strip and look at the casinos. They are so creative.
My favorites:
The Venetian- gondola ride and shopping
NY NY- designed to look like Central Park
M & M World
Coca-Cola Experience
In December, it will be very cold at night ( and possibly in the daytime, too). Some hotels have connecting tunnels and bridges- very helpful.
There is always food available- most casino/ hotels have great buffets.

Since you will be at the Bellagio, check out the fountain shows that are there. They are choreographed to music and are really cool.
Each hotel has some kind of free show to see. Treasure Island has a pirate ship show outside of it and that is really something to see. Get there early since it is a popular show and it gets pretty packed.
The New York New York has a cool roller coaster to ride on which is $12 but is awesome. They also have a dueling pianos show that is neat and free. Trust me, they make it a blast! For that, you just write down on a piece of paper what song you want them to sing and play and they will do it. The more tips they get for that song, the better chances there are for them to play it!
Just try to hit as many hotels as you can since there is so much to see at each one. Oh, and definitely go to Freemont Street, their light show is awesome. They block off the whole street for the show and people dance along and sing to the music and I have seen people laying down on the street looking up at the lights! It really is something to see.

Walk down the strip and check out all the hotels--that will take a lot of time right there. Downtown Vegas is kind of cheesy, but if you like that sort of thing, do it. Hoover Dam is interesting, and a day trip to the Grand Canyon is awesome, even though you don't get to spend much time there in one day. Don't be looking for any cheap places to eat--there really aren't any more around.

las Vegas is a fabulous city. it all depends how much time you have and what are your likes and less likes are. do not miss the casinos -- the big one for sure -- and go to the shows every other night--hear celine dion, see le cirque du soleil. go for a huge breakfast..at 10 in the morning and skip lunch that same day. go to see the city of las Vegas not just the strip. if i were you -- i would read about the history of las Vegas before going -- not for its tourist attraction but for Howard Hughes how he planned such a city that prints money every single minute of the day....24 hrs. a day....hats off. I visited years ago and still have a pleasant feeling. bon voyage
