A bunch of us are going to Vegas this weekend. People keep telling me that the 15 fwy to Vegas is going to be closed for construction. I looked on CalTrans and Traffic.com and it only says that the lanes will be reduced to one lane each direction from Barstow to Baker. Does anyone have any info to help us out.

I-15 won't be closed completely but yes, there will be 1 lane open both ways. Expect traffic delays when travelling this weekend, unless you drive on off-peak hours.

It's the connectors to the 215 that will be closed 9PM-5AM M-F, but the I-15 will be reduced to 1 lane near Barstow all the way to Baker, ONLY Mon-Fri. SEE:

The 15 will be open with 1 lane each way.
