Most apartment complexes here in Vegas charge a $200 fee for a cat or a dog. There's no way aound it so be prepared to have that money before you move in. You can try sneaking the cat in but cats love sitting in the windows so eventually mngmt will find out and charge you.

Most places are pretty standard, unless you move into a crappy apartment and you don't want that. Stay away from anything very close to the strip. Try Summerlin or Green Valley. You'll pay more but you won't be all ghetto.

I would hide the fact that I have a cat.
