There are many deals at expedia.com and travelocity.com
lasvegas.com

There are casinos everywhere - so don't feel you have to lose all of your money at one location.
There are roller coasters on top of tall buildings.
There are white tigers on the first floor side area of the Mirage.
There are outside shows at Treasure Island.
Gambling:
There are many where you can lose $50 without even trying, then win $10, then win another $50.
It's easy to lose $100+ a day minimum, so if you're smart
you'll back away if you lose $20 - and try your luck another time, or another day.

Best location, and I stayed there January 2006, was the Mirage and it's next to Treasure Island, across from Venetian Grand canal, and down the street are Bellagio and the Eiffel tower.
You can walk everywhere, or take the bus when your feet get tired (very cheap).

Don't forget to lunch at the Eiffel tower - pricey but great, great food, and across from the fantastic Bellagio fountains that have themes - yes dancing fountains w/music when you're outside to hear.

Lunch also at the revolving restaurant -where you can see all of Vegas during the day - THE STRATOSPHER. The food was magnificent and you can see if you go at lunchtime - where the people of Las Vegas live and the mountains that surround it.

Las Vegas - I saw Jay Leno and he was non-stop for 1 & 1/2 hours of jokes, and we got the last 2 seats in the far section, and it was still somewhat close because the entertainment area was well done!

We went to see Mystere show - and the best is called "O" which means water in French. The stage actually opens for people to dive into, and then closes for people to walk on it.
So amazing.

At the end of 7 days, I was ready to come home. It's exciting, but not enough to say, wow someday I'd consider living there.

GOD bless us one and all, always.

Prostitution is NOT legal in Las Vegas...as the other answerer said. I hate when people answer things they do not know about!!! There's a lot to do here. I really recommend seeing one of the CIrque du Soileil (sp?) shows. The Beattles Love at the Mirage is awesome, I just saw it a few weeks ago. Mystere is also awesome. Sadly if you want good seats you usually have to buy your tickets way in advance. Blueman is really great too. If you don't want to shell out the money for the shows (they can get pricey), head out of town if you rent a car and see Lake Mead and Red Rock. They are both beautiful natural sites. The Rio puts on a free show every hour or so called Carnaval in the sky that is very Marti Gras like. If you like to shop make sure you stop at the Forum Shops at Ceasars and the Fashion Show Mall right on the strip. There's also a great Italian restaurant right as you walk from Fashion Show to TI on the second floor landing thing. I can't think of the name, but it begins with and M and is something like Magianno's, you'll know it if you see it. If you go downtown (old Vegas) you'll see the Freemont Street experience, which is a huge light show canopy...very cool. Just don't walk down there! The area is a bit shady and unsafe if you leave the canopy. Also while you're down there stop at the Four Queens and eat dinner at Hugo's Cellar. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas, very old school but also sort of expensive. They do give every girl a rose which is cool. If you are looking for some adult entertainment go see the Chippendales at the Rio or upstairs at the Olympic Gardens has male dancers. Also check out some of the clubs like Pure, Tao, and Jet. Have fun!

Being a guy, I have different "musts", but from some lady friends of mine who go (to Vegas and other hot spots) regularly, a clear and distinct "must" on their list (assuming you can afford it) is a professional escort service (and, yes, sex is only optional, not expected ~ the escort service is mainly for a professional look and having the best male company). There are several professional escort services that will guarantee you ladies have an exceptional time, with great company (limos, looks, and educated guys who are well versed in locations and happenings). They can make all the difference in you just trying to hit some hot spots, and you hitting the hot spots with hot companionship! Good Luck and have a great time -- and, as you will probably get told many times, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!!!"

well, since ur girls r probably below the age of 18, you guys should buy some tickets to some shows. like comedys. and also, there's a coco-cola factory next to MGM and you can try 16 flavors of Coco-cola for 7 dollars. there's also a game place called GameWorks next to MGM, and that place is like sooo fun. kids enjoys that place a lot. and you can order tickets there too. and yes, the dancing fountains are pretty fun, there's lions inside the MGM hotel, and if ur daughters like shopping, you should go to Aladdins for shopping. they have the greatest stores. and in gameworks, a person will also give you this magazine that shows you a lot of places you can go near Las Vegas for fun, like driving a plane, or driving this car thing in the desert, though they are pretty expensive. hope you have fun in Las Vegas like I did and don't get drunk or gamble too much!

That depends greatly on how old you are, whether you are single or not and how good looking you are. Also what your tastes are, how much you have to spend and how long you are going to be there.
