what local light company do you think is the cheapest..I have Gexa and my bill is REALLY high?

I have a small 2 bedroom apt and my bill was $251.00 last month and I just recieved my bill and it is $257.00 thats CRAZY I keep the thermostat at 80 and im hardly ever home...what should I do?

Where are the best places to live in Texas?

Hi we are moving to Texas from Portland, OR and have been looking around the Houston area! But since I know very little about Texas (just the research I have been doing on the internet!) I was hoping someone can give me an idea of where the best city to live would be!
Low crime is a huge plus! And I don't mind living 20 minutes away from a big city!

Why do people get happy and excited whenever there's a criminal matter going on?

particularly if it's in the news (murders, police chases, etc.). Is it because nothing exciting ever goes on here like in California?

Will the people in Houston be really different from people in Boston?

I'm moving from Boston to Houston and was wondering what the people will be like. I've never really been far south.. last year I was in Atlanta and was amazed at how friendly people were; it threw me off a little bit. Here that's often considered creepy, but I guess that's the "southern hospitality" thing?

So... will I get along with people in Houston? Will it really be that different since it's a big city?

I.m taking a trip to Houston & Galvaston, Texas . No kids, me & a date, looking for some cool things to do and see. We enjoy most everything. 30ish so not old & not children and enjoy life. any suggestions ?

I am moving soon there, but I dont know the areas real well, could you tell me the good areas and the bad ones, cuz I know there are a lot of different areas like the south north and so on. I cant afford a real nice area, but I would like an area close to stores

Cheap cities for hotels between Dallas/Houston?

We are traveling from OKC to Houston and would like to stop at a smaller city between Dallas and Houston to stay a night and take a break. What are some smaller cities on the way which would have cheaper lodging?
