I have a small 2 bedroom apt and my bill was $251.00 last month and I just recieved my bill and it is $257.00 thats CRAZY I keep the thermostat at 80 and im hardly ever home...what should I do?

TXU seems to be the best. I have neighbors that work for Reliant, but they chose TXU as their provider. I have heard that if you choose a company that is based out of state your rates will always be cheaper than the local provider. It seems to be true. If you sign up for TXU summer savings plan (2 year contract) you can save additional money during the summer month. My bill only went up $7 higher than June with this additional savings. You can go to TXU.com and figure out approximately what your bill would be each month.

I have a 2 bedroom apt. and my light bill is usually $130 and I keep the AC on all night, but I have Direct Energy, its supposed to be like 3% less than Reliant every month. And theres no deposit!

i also have gexa and my bill was 415.00 i would also like and answer to that and i was gone for two weeks. scary
