I will be moving to Houston soon. I will be living near the Willowbrook mall. Can anybody tell me about the neighborhood?

like everyone else has said, the area is nice. we looked at houses right around it but it was way too congested all the time. i would hate to think of what it is like during the holiday shopping season. overall it is great since if you can't find it at the mall you have tons of other stores to choose from that you will probably get what you want. target, walmart, and all the other places that complete a shopping area are all immediately surrounding the mall. we live south of the mall, down 1960 just north of 290. that area is really nice, it is the small area between of 1960 between jones and 249 that is kind of junky. but they have some interesting stores to check out! good luck in houston and bring lots of mosquito spray! :)

The Willowbrook mall area varies alot by where you will be. I don't recommend you moving without checking out the area. We live in Jersey Village which is about 4 or 5 miles from Willowbrook mall, has it's own police department and low crime. Don't forget to check for sex offenders in your area, too. Crime is going up everywhere in Houston, so be cautious wherever you live and wherever you visit.

That area used to be nicer, but it's still pretty good compared to inside the city limits of Houston. Willowbrook Mall is getting newer stores, it's ok. MEMORIAL CITY MALL is much much better.

The Willowbrook area is not as nice as it used to be. If at all possible, try to live north of the
Mall. East and West is not bad. Don't go
South of the Mall

Mizzhollywood would not recognize what she's talking about. people received't run over you because of your race. Willowbrook is a large section with a lot of eateries and shops round. The crime is low as well. site visitors should be on the heavy facet, yet what section in Houston would not have site visitors? sturdy success and welcome to Houston!

it's a pretty ok place. there is a mall, an AMC movie theater, lots of shops, sam's club, costco, best buy, there's some new development going on, the mall is pretty good. sometimes there is lots of traffic especially on late afternoons and during the weekend. otherwise than that, it's pretty good to live there.
